Wind was SW F5 about 3 ish and 3 already with the sea looking rough without clean waves. Rigged 5.7 Hellcat with Fanatic freewave 115L but was way over and out of control, even though others were on 5M. Sail was too full and the 38 fin way too big.
Flattenned it and fitted 29cm which calmed the board nicely, but now felt sail was twitchy and a little gutless but the swells were now big to come off on gybes and play on the way in. Prob 10 of the usually hard core sailors were out playing.
Just as I was now enjoying new toy the wind switched to offshore, and dropped lucky thing I was coming in.
